On May 5, the 133rd Canton Fair closed in Guangzhou with fruitful results. The number of offline exhibitors reached 35,000, and more than 2.9 million people visited the fair, both reaching a record high. Overseas purchasers from 229 countries and regions participated online and offline. Among them, there were 129,006 offline overseas purchasers from 213 countries and regions. There were 62,698 buyers from countries along the Belt and Road, accounting for 48.6 percent. Field exports were valued at $21.69 billion.
Since the beginning of this year, all kinds of exhibition activities intensive "set up". Recently, in addition to the Canton Fair, the second Chengdu International Industry Expo opened on April 26, which is the first industrial exhibition in western China this year. On April 27, "The Second China West Cross-border E-commerce Expo" was held, attracting nearly 400 high-quality exhibitors.
"As a window to observe the urban economy, the successive industry events highlight the strong 'gravity' of the Chinese market, reflect the vitality of economic development, release new opportunities for industrial development and perfect industrial ecosphere, and promote the development of social economy with higher quality."
